Cleaning steps for protective lenses of laser cutting machines
The cleaning methods for different lenses are different. When the mirror surface is flat and without a mirror base, use lens paper for cleaning, such as cleaning the reflector; When the mirror surface is curved or with a mirror base, and lens paper cannot be used, a cotton swab should be used for cleaning. For example, the specific steps for cleaning the focusing lens are as follows:
1. The steps to clean the lens with lens paper: Use a blowing balloon to blow off the dust on the surface of the lens; To clean the surface of the lens with alcohol or lens paper, the smooth side of the lens paper should be placed flat on the surface of the lens. 2-3 drops of high-purity alcohol or high-purity acetone should be added, and the lens paper should be slowly pulled out horizontally in the direction of the operator. Repeat the above operation several times until the mirror surface is clean. Do not apply pressure to the lens paper to prevent scratches. If the mirror surface is very dirty, fold the lens paper in half 2-3 times and repeat the above steps, Until the mirror surface is clean. It is prohibited to use dry lens paper to drag directly on the mirror surface.
2. The steps to clean the lens with a cotton swab: First, use a spray gun to blow off the dust on the mirror surface; Use a clean cotton swab to remove the dirt; Use a new cotton swab dipped in high-purity alcohol or acetone to move around the center of the lens and wipe the lens. After each wipe, replace it with another clean cotton swab and repeat the above operation until the lens is clean; Take the cleaned lens to a well lit area for observation. If the reflection of the lens is good, it indicates that the lens is clean. If the reflection of the lens is not good, it is necessary to continue cleaning the lens; Place the cleaned lenses on the mirror base according to the method described above. It is prohibited to use used cotton swabs for operation.
Storage methods for optical lenses
1. Properly storing optical lenses can maintain their quality and integrity.
2. The storage environment temperature should be between 10 and 30 ℃. Do not place the lens in a freezer or similar environment, otherwise it will condense and frost when taken out, which can easily damage the lens. The temperature of the storage environment should not exceed 30 ℃, otherwise it will affect the coating on the surface of the lens.
3. Store the lenses in a box and place them in a non vibrating environment, otherwise they may deform and affect their performance.
