Common faults and treatment methods of galvanometer of laser marking machine

1. The galvanometer motor is not self-locking

First check whether there is an open circuit or short circuit in each connecting line, whether the connection is correct, and then turn on the power after confirming that there is no error. Use a multimeter to measure whether the voltage of each terminal at the input end of the power supply is ±15V. If the voltage is abnormal, it means that the switching power supply is damaged. After the power input is normal, after all the wiring is connected, the power-on motor generally emits two ticking sounds. If there is no sound, push the galvanometer lens slightly with your hand with a little force, if the galvanometer lens is not self-locking. Troubleshooting: Find a drive board that is confirmed to be intact and connect it to the motor that is not self-locking. If it is not self-locking, the motor is broken. In the same way, find a galvanometer motor that is confirmed to be in good condition, connect it to the driver board that is not self-locking, and turn on the power if it does not self-lock, the galvanometer driver board is damaged, be sure to ensure that the process of connecting and pulling wires is performed with the power cut off.

2. The galvanometer motor is self-locking, but not strong enough

Use a confirmed galvanometer driver board and a good galvanometer motor, respectively, connect to the driver board to be tested and the galvanometer motor and power on normally, and gently rotate the galvanometer shaft by hand, if it becomes "hard", it is normal; otherwise It can be determined that the galvanometer driver board and the galvanometer motor are damaged.


3. The galvanometer motor does not swing

Check whether the motor is self-locking and whether the marking card has control signal output. (Note: if the motor is self-locking, the check signal is a DC voltage signal from -5V to +5V) If yes, check whether the galvanometer signal cable is well connected , after confirming that the connection is correct, mark it. If there is still no swing, check whether the positive and negative connection of the signal line is reversed or the line is broken. )


4. Wavy lines appear in the marking, there is a slight cry, and the heat generation of the driver board is slightly higher

Check whether the grounding wire is connected correctly (the best grounding method is: X galvanometer signal ground, Y galvanometer signal ground, shielded wire, 220V power ground and marking machine casing should be connected), if the ground wire is still connected after connecting If there is interference, first check whether the marking card is normal (the inspection method is to replace it with a well-confirmed marking card, and mark to see if there is still interference). If there is any entanglement with other wires, if everything is normal, first replace it with a well-confirmed galvanometer driver board. If there is no interference, it can be concluded that there is a problem with the galvanometer driver board; if there is interference, there is a problem with the galvanometer motor.

5. Generate howling

As in step 4, test the marking card signal, wiring, external interference, etc. If there is still whistle, then debug the potentiometer on the filter board of the galvanometer driver board. If the whistling still cannot be eliminated, you need to return to the The company makes precise adjustments.

Note: Do not stay in the whistling state for a long time, so as not to burn out the galvanometer motor.


6. No sealing or over-sealing in marking

Change the "jump delay" in the marking software, and delays such as light-emitting and light-off. If it doesn't work, the galvanometer is not fully calibrated and should be returned to the company.
