How to adjust the height of the nozzle in laser cutting?

cutting nozzle (1)

Laser equipment can be divided into four categories: laser marking machines, laser welding machines, laser cutting machines, and laser cleaning machines. Laser marking machines include semiconductor laser marking machines, CO2 laser marking machines, fiber laser marking machines, ultraviolet laser marking machines, etc.; laser welding machines include YAG laser automatic welding machines and optical fiber transmission automatic laser welding machines; laser Cutting machines include YAG laser cutting machine and fiber laser cutting machine, etc.

How to adjust the height of the nozzle in laser cutting

Adjustment of nozzle height

The nozzle height is the distance between the nozzle outlet and the workpiece surface. The setting range of this height is between 0.5mm and 4.0mm, and when cutting, we generally set it at 0.7mm to 1.2mm. If it is too low, the nozzle will easily hit the surface of the workpiece. If it is too high, the concentration and pressure of the auxiliary gas will be reduced. , resulting in a decrease in cutting quality. When punching, the height is slightly higher than the cutting height, and the height is set at 3.5mm~4mm, which can effectively prevent the splash generated during punching from contaminating the focusing mirror.

There is a scale potentiometer on the adjustment box of EG495, and the scale basically represents the distance between the nozzle and the plate surface (0.5 to 10mm). For example, the scale is 1.5, and the distance between the nozzle and the board is about 1.6mm.

     ⊙ Follow-up sensor

The adjustment of the follow-up sensor must be carried out in accordance with the essentials.
