And a high pressure is formed at the nozzle outlet to speed up the welding speed, take away the slag, and protect the inner lens of the laser head. First, the selection method of the nozzle of the laser welding machine:

The diameter of the nozzle determines the shape of the gas flow entering the welding port, the gas diffusion area, and the gas flow rate, which affects the removal of the melt and the stability of the welding. The airflow into the welding port is large, the speed is fast, and the position of the workpiece in the airflow is correct, the stronger the ability to spray and remove the melt is.


The welding gas is ejected from the center of the nozzle and acts on the welding plate. According to the positive and negative directions of the X axis and the Y axis, the laser spot can be divided into four areas. When the laser is not in the center of the nozzle, the four cross-section effects are likely to be inconsistent. , Some noodles have thick stripes, even hanging slag or cutting constantly.


For the bright surface effect of welded carbon steel, small nozzles combined with high-focus technology are currently used. The laser is not in the center of the nozzle, which is slightly easy to cause the nozzle to heat up, which affects the follow-up, cannot be processed stably, and directly burns the nozzle.

The user selects the nozzle size according to the laser power used and the thickness of the metal sheet to be cut. Theoretically, the thicker the plate, the larger the nozzle should be used, the larger the proportional valve setting pressure, the larger the flow rate, and the normal cross-section effect can be achieved by ensuring the pressure.


Second, the debugging method of the nozzle of the laser welding machine:

Adjust the coaxial at the focal point 0, so that the laser is in the center of the nozzle; the focus point is ±6mm to emit light; if the focus point 0 and ±6mm are both in the center of the nozzle, it is normal. The perforation is unstable, the time is not easy to control, the penetration of the thick plate will cause over-melting, and the penetration conditions are not easy to grasp, and the impact of the perforation of the thin plate is small. Otherwise, replace the welding head or the laser light path is shifted.


When the nozzle is deformed or there are stains on the nozzle, its influence on the welding quality is the same as the above. Therefore, the nozzle should be placed carefully to avoid collision and deformation. The melted stains on the nozzle should be cleaned in time. The quality of the nozzle requires high precision in manufacturing, and the installation also requires the correct method. If the welding conditions are changed due to the poor quality of the nozzle, the nozzle should be replaced in time.
