1. How to do the routine test of hand-held welding head welding machine

For example, check that the cooling fan rotates smoothly when the welder is powered on. Whether there is abnormal vibration, sound and smell; whether there is air leakage; whether the seam between the welding wire and the insulating layer is loose or peeled off; whether there is abnormal heating of welding cables and wiring components, etc.

Dust is easily sucked from the surrounding environment and stored in the welding machine. Therefore, we can regularly use clean and dry compressed air to blow and wipe away the accumulated dust inside the welding machine. In particular, transformers, gaps between reactive coils and power semiconductors should be cleaned.

Check whether the connection screws of the terminals on the power input side, power output side, etc., the connection parts of the external wiring and the connection parts of the internal wiring are loose. Rust should be removed when it occurs. Remove to ensure good contact conductivity.

1. Regularly check and replace the conductive nozzle

When the diameter of the worn conductive nozzle becomes larger, the arc will become unstable, the appearance of the weld will deteriorate, or the weld will stick (burn back). The end of the conductive nozzle is caught by the spatter, and the wire feed will become uneven. If the conductive nozzle is not tightened, the nipple will heat up and solder to death.


2. Regularly clean and replace the spring hose

After the spring hose is used for a long time, a large amount of iron powder, dust and electroplating chips of the welding wire will accumulate, which will make the feeding of the welding wire unstable. Therefore, regular cleaning is very important. You can curl it and tap it lightly to shake off the accumulated material, then blow it away with compressed air. Oil stains on the hose should be cleaned with a brush in the oil and then blown off with compressed air. If the spring hose is twisted or badly deformed and bent, replace with a new hose. When replacing the pipe, verify that it is suitable for the diameter and length of the wire used and that there should be no burrs on the cut surface.


3. Inspection of the insulating ferrule of the hand-held welding head welding machine

If the insulating ferrule is removed for welding, spatter can adhere to the inside of the nozzle, directing the nozzle to live parts. The torch may burn from a short circuit. At the same time, in order to make the protective gas flow out evenly, an insulating ferrule must be installed.


4. Manual operation and maintenance of hand-held welding:

(1) The handheld laser welding machine must receive professional training, understand the use of system indicators and buttons, and be familiar with the most basic equipment knowledge, safety knowledge and precautions before use.


(2) Before working on the hand-held laser welding machine, please check the wire groove, whether the wire is damaged or exposed. Do not place debris and tools on the robot body, external shafts, gun cleaning stations and water coolers.


(3) It is strictly forbidden to place liquid items (such as kettles) on the control cabinet. There are no flammable items (such as cotton shoes) in the operating room; the operating room temperature should not exceed 25 degrees Celsius; there is no air leakage, water leakage, and electricity leakage; the threads of the welding tools are not damaged, and the robot is not abnormal. There are no magnetic fields and sources of vibration (such as magnets) within the working range of the robot.
