Laser cleaning technology development

It refers to the use of high-energy laser beams to irradiate the surface of the workpiece to instantly evaporate or peel off the dirt, rust spots or coatings on the surface, and to effectively remove the surface attachments or surface coatings of the cleaning object at high speed, so as to achieve a clean process. It is a new technology based on the interaction effect of laser and matter. Different from traditional mechanical cleaning method, chemical cleaning method and ultrasonic cleaning method (wet cleaning process), it does not need any CFC organic solvent that destroys the ozone layer, and is pollution-free. , a "green" cleaning technology that is noiseless and harmless to the human body and the environment.

The RFL-P500H laser is a circular spot multi-mode laser with a maximum single pulse energy of 50mJ, a focused spot diameter of about 1mm, and a beam quality factor M2 of 62.5.

The parameters of glass single silver film removal are: 100ns, 500W, 15kHz, line width 15mm, cleaning speed 8m/min, which can clean the coated surface, the surface is transparent, and the horizontal and vertical light spots can also be overlapped.


Several sets of process parameters tested are shown in the following figure:

From the above data, it can be seen that the repetition frequency is 15kHz, the cleaning speed is 5m/s, the cleaning is more thorough, and the white color is more obvious.

Solar panel coating cleaning


Cleaning requirements: In order to insert the edge into the aluminum frame, the cleaning width is required to be 10mm, and the black coating on the reverse side is removed from the other side, and the glass substrate must not be damaged. The efficiency is at least 6m/min, and the color is transparent after cleaning.
