Several important factors of laser cutting head machining accuracy

We determine the appropriate cutting speed of the laser cutting head, and judge whether the laser cutting processing speed can be increased or slowed down from the cutting spark. If the spark spreads from top to bottom or if it is inclined, it means that the cutting speed is too fast. Sparks appear non-spread and few, clustered together, it means that the speed is too slow. The workpiece material has a certain influence on the laser cutting accuracy. In the same case, the cutting accuracy of different materials is slightly different. Even for the same material, if the composition of the material is different, the cutting accuracy will be different.

1. The size of the focused spot of the laser beam of the laser cutting head: the smaller the focused spot of the laser beam, the higher the processing accuracy of the laser cutting head, especially the smaller slit, the smallest spot can reach 0.01mm.

2. The positioning accuracy of the worktable determines the repeatability of the laser cutting process. The higher the accuracy of the worktable, the higher the cutting accuracy.

3. The larger the thickness of the workpiece, the lower the precision and the larger the kerf. Since the laser beam is tapered, the slit is also tapered, and the material with a thickness of 0.3MM is much smaller than the slit of 2MM.

Consequences of cutting too fast:

1. It may not be able to cut through, and sparks will spray.

2. Some areas can be cut through, but some areas cannot be cut through.

3. The whole section is rough, but does not produce dissolving stains.

4. The cutting section is oblique stripe road, and the lower half is melted.

Consequences of cutting too slow:

1. Over-melting, the cut surface is rough.

2. The slit becomes wider, and the sharp corners are completely melted.

3. Affect the cutting efficiency.
