Laser protection lenses are wearing parts, which are used to protect the environment in the laser head cavity from external dust pollution, and are mostly used in laser cutting, welding, marking, cleaning, 3D printing, photovoltaic cells, lithium-ion new energy and other fields. The protective sheets on the market range from a few yuan to several thousand yuan. How to choose fiber laser protective lenses is the basic common sense that many novice buyers need to make up for.
Laser Protection Lenses
When choosing a laser protection sheet, you need to confirm the following indicators:
①Diameter and thickness: The outer diameter and thickness of the protective sheet. This indicator is the external dimension and the most basic confirmation value. Whether it can be properly installed should be accurate to 0.1mm.
②Applied power: not the power of the laser, but the actual applied power, which should be confirmed with the customer generally (the laser power is 6kw, and the actual operating power is 4kw, which is the applied power).
③ Band range: generally refers to the band range of the laser, and also consider whether it is multi-band.
④Material requirements: K9 and quartz are generally used for optical fiber, ultraviolet and green light. The co2 laser generally uses ZnSe zinc selenide.
⑤ Finish, transmittance, damage threshold, etc.
During the installation and cleaning of the lens, any sticky matter, or even oil droplets printed on the nails, will increase the absorption rate of the lens and reduce the service life. The following precautions must be taken:
1. Never install the lens with bare fingers. Finger cots or rubber gloves should be worn.
2. Do not use sharp instruments to avoid scratching the surface of the lens.
3. When taking the lens, do not touch the film layer, but hold the edge of the lens.
4. The lens should be placed in a dry and tidy place for testing and cleaning. A good bench surface should have several layers of cleaning paper towels and several sheets of cleaning lens tissue.
5. Users should avoid talking over the lens and keep food, beverages and other potential contaminants away from the work environment.
