What kind of water is used for laser chillers?
When buying laser chillers, customers often ask what water to use for our laser chillers. Indeed, this question is critical. Laser chillers as a complementary equipment to the laser equipment cooling, we also have certain requirements for the use of its circulating water. For example, conventional tap water and so on is not suitable, because of its many impurities, over time the water quality inside the chiller tank will deteriorate, which will lead to chiller failure, affecting the normal work of the equipment, so in the correct use of the laser chiller process, we must have a certain understanding of the requirements of its circulating water.
Laser chiller inside the circulating water, generally with the following three kinds of water.
1, pure water.
Pure water is the removal of all electrolytes and non-electrolytes in the water, it can also be said that the removal of all non-water substances in the water. Basically, it is made by reverse osmosis. Because most of the pretreatment in reverse osmosis are first used activated carbon to remove some of the non-electrolytes, and conductivity is very easy to measure, so the purity of pure water is often measured by conductivity.
2、Distilled water.
Distilled water is the water prepared by distillation, the condensation of water vapor. General large-scale water production is produced by the boiler vapor, and then condensed and obtained. Distilled water is ordinary water through evaporation in the condensation and made, in distilled water still retains the characteristics of water, that is, the ionization of water molecules in trace amounts, producing very little hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions, while deionized water is water to maintain the molecular state, without producing any ions.
3, deionized water.
As the name implies is to remove the water in addition to hydrogen ions, hydroxide ions other than the electrolyte dissolved in water ionization generated by all the ions. That is, to remove the electrolytes dissolved in water. Since the ions generated by the ionization of electrolytes dissolved in water can increase the conductivity of water, the purity of deionized water is naturally measured by the conductivity. Deionized water is basically produced by the ion exchange method. However, deionized water can contain non-electrolytes that cannot be ionized, such as ethanol.
