Raycus QCW laser source Fiber Laser RFL-QCW2000/6000 for Precision welding/Cutting
The full name of QCW is Quasi-Continuous Wave Laser, which translates to quasi-continuous laser, and is the third type of fiber laser that is rapidly emerging in the market. The prefix "quasi" before "CW laser" shows to a certain extent that QCW retains the well-known advantages of continuous lasers: high electro-optical conversion efficiency, good reliability, maintenance-free, strong stability and smaller footprint area. QCW defeated ultrafast lasers twice in 2011 and 2015, and won the Prism Award, known as the "Photonics Oscar", issued by the International Society of Optical Engineering.
